I never get tired of watching siblings meet for the first time. In fact it is my favorite part of photographing “Fresh 48” hospital sessions! 

This family had their sweet baby girl at San Diego’s Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns. I showed up right before big brother was set to arrive- which was perfect because we wanted to document his reaction to seeing his little sister for the first time. He was slightly nervous at first but warmed up to her as time went on. 🙂

I left this session so thankful the Casao family asked me to photograph this special occasion. They were relaxed, loving, and beautiful- I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’m sure their baby girl is already growing like a weed. I’m so glad they will have this collection to forever remember how teeny tiny she once was. 🙂
