“TO TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER.”⠀
I started asking this question years ago in attempt to instill in my sons the idea they should look out for, and protect one another. More often than not, it was used as a tactic to diffuse animosity. They would grumble the reply when I posed the question because they really just wanted to tackle the other one in anger. ⠀
But there are times when I witness them actually follow the rule. When that happens- when my boys take care of each other- my heart feels at peace, and all is right in the world – at least until the next fight. But I’ll take it! ♀️
