IT’S BEEN THE STRANGEST 3 MONTHS OF MOST OF OUR LIVES LIVING THROUGH THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC. BEING A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER IN SAN DIEGO, CA AND BEING “NON ESSENTIAL” MEANT I HAD TO POSTPONE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS AND SHIFT MY FOCUS TO OTHER AREAS OF MY BUSINESS. IT WAS STRESSFUL AT TIMES BUT I’VE TRIED TO FOCUS ON THE POSITIVES. I WOULD PROBABLY NEVER BE ABLE TO, OR FEEL COMFORTABLE TAKING WEEKS/MONTHS OFF OF SHOOTING CLIENTS. SO I TOOK THE TIME OFF AS A FORCED VACATION…ER, MORE LIKE A STAY-CATION.
WHILE IT HAS BEEN NICE TO HAVE A BREAK FROM DEADLINES AND FEELING OVER-SCHEDULED IN MY PERSONAL & WORK LIFE- IT FELT SO GOOD TO BE OUT ON LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHING ONE OF MY FAVORITE FAMILIES YESTERDAY!
I’M HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT I’M BACK TO WORK AND READY TO SEE ALL YOU LOVELY PEOPLE!
Some people will enter your life and have a light so bright you crave to be around them. They lift you up, encourage and motivate you in ways others simply can not. This mama right here is one of those bright lights in my life. She’s been cracking me up, and busting my butt for 9 years [did I mention she’s a fitness instructor?]. I feel so fortunate to call her my friend.⠀
Her family is just as fun and vibrant as she is- and I didn’t want this session to end. Thank you Gillooly Family for making my first family session post Corona so amazing!
